Due to the fact that “radio production“ is a young field of activity, it encouraged me to take a closer look to this scope of work. The aim of every radio station is to establish on the radio market and to be better than the competitors. This can only be reached with a good program, a good promotion and an unmistakeable sound. These facts are the area of responsibility of the “Radio Production” department. This degree dissertation should give an overview of the system of a radio station and shows in detail the radio production of Radio Oberösterreich. Within the scope of radio production I will focus on the production of a “radio trailer”. It will be explained what a radio trailer is, which purpose it fulfils and how it will be produced. Because the workflow in all ORF studios in Austria is the same, this documentation of the trailer production could be seen as the usual way of production workflow. This dissertation deals with the technical conditions, the creative production workflow and the used software. Firstable I want to give a short historical development of the trailer production, than I lead to radio management. In this chapter it will be explained how a radio station is organised and how all departments deal with each other to create a good radio program. The third chapter is the comprehensive one, which deals with the trailer production. It leads from marketing, recording, creative work, sound processing to the point where the complete trailer goes on air. After this chapter I would focus on the production department, on program promotion and on format radio. http://phaidra.fhstp.ac.at/o:1517 application/pdf 5114707 bytes Text Die Entstehung eines Trailers im Rahmen der Radioproduktion am Beispiel von Radio Oberösterreich
