The up to date topic of television industry in 2007 is the changeover from analogue to digital television in nearly every household in Austria. Because of this technical development there are many new possibilities to expand the services provided by the TV set. The basic idea of this thesis is to develop an interactive application, which is as innovative as useful. With “TV-Shopping” a new kind of shopping is developed. For the user there is the possibility to order products at home with his remote on the TV set, which will be delivered directly to his front door. In order that any user is able to handle this application, it is important to make it as user-friendly as possible. On the basis of diverse analysis and user tests there will be found a way to show how an appliance like this could look like. The achievements of the tests show that 80% of all interviewed test persons are interested in this development and they would like to use it. Because of this big percentage, it is likely that applications of this kind will cause bit interest in the future. http://phaidra.fhstp.ac.at/o:1642 application/pdf 2760175 bytes TV-Shopping Text
