Background: Multiple Sklerosis is one of the most frequent neurological diseases of young adults. Depending on the localization of the impairment, various symptoms can appear which can restrict mobility and, therefore, affect the quality of life. Objective: Various studies evidence the positive effect of the training of endur-ance, strength, or balance on the gait pattern of persons with multiple sclerosis. It needed to be examined whether a combination of those three methods have a positive impact on gait pattern and gait security. Methods: One test person, who had multiple sclerosis and showed gait insecurity, was tested in a single-subject-study in an A-B-design for eight weeks. The obtained information was analyzed with tables and diagrams with the program Microsoft Excel. Results: The test person improved in all implemented evaluation criteria like the Berg Balance Scale, the Functional Gait Assessment and the Timed Up And Go Test. The aggravation of the results of the final measurement compared to the preceding measurement is a possible consequence of a fall of the test person pre-vious to the scheduled final measurement. Conclusions: The intervention program showed a trend of improvement in the mobility of the person with multiple sclerosis. In order to substantiate these results, further studies and additional scientific examinations are required.
