Viele Onlineportale bieten bereits Bots an. The technological developments in the recent years have led to an increased use of smartphones and in particular to a daily use of messenger apps, such as Facebook or WhatsApp. This has also influenced the e-commerce. Messaging apps are more and more used for online commerce. It became the so-called "conversational commerce". The integration of chatbots can offer many advantages. With the help of artificial intelligence, the bot can communicate with the customer and can be used for marketing purposes. As a bot is always available it can especially be used for customer service. Many online portals already offer bots. But what possibilities does a developer have to implement chatbots for ecommerce? Are chatbots even used and accepted by customers in e-commerce? How satisfied are the customers and do chatbots provide all the relevant information for the user? Is it possible that it can replace an online shop sometime? In the course of this thesis, these questions will be answered by describing the background of chatbots, artificial intelligence, and the evolution of e-commerce. In order to show the possibilities of developing a chatbot, online tools for creating bots are presented and compared. Afterwards a chatbot is developed and a usability test is realized. A questionnaire will find out if chatbots are used and accepted and how they affect the e-commerce. The results of the task analysis show if bots contain all relevant information and if they could replace an online shop. http://phaidra.fhstp.ac.at/o:3062 application/pdf 9573070 bytes Chatbots im E-Commerce Text
