White papers are a much-used communication tool and are communicated to po-tential customers and potential customers by companies through various communication channels. However, white papers are not heavily or not at all represented in (technical) communications literature and the existing definitions of the term differ. For this work titled "White Papers as Instruments of Corporate Communication on the Example of MIPCOM", the use of White Papers in corporate communications is analyzed based on existing literature, and the findings of theoretical research are applied to empirical research, which deals with the analysis of White Papers published in the context of MIPCOM. In order to carry out the researches, two research questions were defined: Research question 1 is: What functions do white papers fulfill in corporate communication? Research Question 2 was phrased as follows: Who are the relevant actors in the White Papers, and how do they relate to each other? What are the characteristics of White Papers of MIPCOM? Research question 1 is analyzed using literature analysis. To answer the research question 2, a content analysis of 38 white papers in the context of MIPCOM is car-ried out. These white papers are analyzed for both quantitative and qualitative aspects. Referring to the results of the study in this paper, it can be said that the analyzed White Papers are fully in line with the general definition of White Papers in only four out of 38 cases, but follow the basic idea of White Papers because they want to convey relevant information to the recipient, help identify problems and trends, and make decisions.
