Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an economic management approach, which enables enterprises to take on their responsibility for society on a voluntary basis. Nowadays more and more enterprises assume their responsibility and get involved in social and environmental issues. This way a successful CSR management creates a win-win situation for enterprises and society. At present CSR suffers from a lack of credibility. Enterprises are confronted with serious communicative problems, whenever they refer to their social and environmental commitments in public. This diploma thesis therefore deals with the communication of CSR commitments in public. The aim is to solve the existing problem with credibility in enterprises and to give recommendations for organizing external corporate communications. At the beginning the theoretical foundations of Corporate Social Responsibility are explained and its current relevance in business practice is pointed out. The existing communicative dilemma is analysed in detail and special requirements for a credible communication are listed. The newly developed CREDIBILITY model is the principal outcome of this diploma thesis, which contains explicit recommendations for corporate communications in reference to CSR. A strategic dealing is suggested which integrates information as well as interaction. The communication of CSR thereby should be focused continuously towards credibility, the formal target and leading idea of CSR. 1552151 AC07501033 2017-01-20T09:50:28.602Z 44 no 46 Doris Blauensteiner 2008 application/pdf 506524 http://phaidra.fhstp.ac.at/o:401 no yes 1 70
