„The art prize as a form of art sponsoring – The measurement of the success of Austrian art prizes in Eastern Europe on the basis of Bank Austria Creditanstalt and Henkel CEE” is the title of the diploma thesis. The topic of art sponsoring will be lit up at the beginning to deal with the “special case” art prize as a possible form of art sponsoring afterwards. The measurement of art sponsoring in general as well as the art prize in particular are the main parts of this work. The work deals with the measurement of the success of art prizes in Eastern Europe which are offered by Austrian companies. Austria is situated as a gateway between the countries, which have already been members of the European Union for a longer time and the new members like the Czech Republic or Hungary. Concerning the geographical location, Austria has an ideal position to get in touch with Eastern Europe. Therefore new opportunities for Austrian companies are opened up to deal with socio-political duties concerning Eastern Europe which create a possibility to stand out from competitors. Bank Austria Creditanstalt and Henkel CEE are taken as examples that have the potential to refer both to the region Central- and Eastern Europe and to their settlements there to particularly support art in Central- and Eastern Europe together with them. http://phaidra.fhstp.ac.at/o:905 application/pdf 468657 bytes Der Kunstpreis als Form des Kunstsponsoring Text
