In dieser Forschungsarbeit befasse ich mich mit der Rolle der Sozialen Arbeit im Rahmen der Ausbildungspflicht bis 18. Im Zuge der Forschung habe ich den Gesetzestext, Umsetzungsregelungen, geschlossene Unterlagen des BMASK und AMS recherchiert, sowie Leitfadeninterviews mit Expert*innen der genannten Institutionen geführt. Das Datenmaterial wurde von mir mittels strukturgeleiteter Textanalyse, bzw. Materialanalyse ausgewertet. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der Gesetzestext und die geschlossenen Unterlagen die Soziale Arbeit nicht explizit erwähnen. Die Expert*innen sehen Tätigkeitsfelder für Sozialarbeiter*innen im Rahmen des Jugendcoachings und geförderter Projekte. Die Umsetzungsregelungen der KOST, des Jugendcoachings und der Produktionsschule geben eine abgeschlossene Sozialarbeitsausbildung als eine Voraussetzung an.

This research paper deals with the role of social work in the context of the “AusBildungspflicht bis 18”. During the course of the research, legal texts, implementation regulations and closed documentations were researched. Also, guided interviews were conducted with experts of “BMASK” and “AMS”. The data sets were evaluated with structurally guided text analysis and the material analysis respectively. The results show that social work is not mentioned in the text of law, just as in the closed documentations. The experts see a field of activity in line with the “Jugendcoaching” and aided projects. The implementation documentations of the “KOST”, the “Jugendcoaching” and the “Produktionsschule”, specify a completed education in social work as a requirement, among other things.
