Die Herausforderung Wohnen

Die vorliegende qualitative Arbeit behandelt die Problematiken, die Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene nach dem Verlassen einer stationären Einrichtung der Kinder- und Jugendhilfe erwarten. Da die Forschung eine Kooperation mit dem Verein Wohnen und Teil des Projektes „»Wo soll ich hin?« – Beratung von Menschen in Wohnungsnot.“ ist, liegt der Fokus auf dem Aspekt Wohnen. Es wurden zwei Interviews mit einem Betroffenen und einer Expertin geführt, welche anschließend mit der Methode des offenen Kodierens nach Strauss / Corbin ausgewertet wurden. Die Forschung legt dar, dass vielfältige Problemlagen auf persönlicher und äußerer Ebene vorliegen. Den Betroffenen fehlen einerseits grundlegende Alltagskompetenzen, andererseits sind sie unter anderem mit Traumata, finanziellen Problemen und einem eingeschränkten Supportnetz konfrontiert.

The following qualitative analysis surrounds the problems of adolescents and young adults after they left institutional care. Since the study is a cooperation with the Verein Wohnen and part of the project „»Wo soll ich hin?« – Beratung von Menschen in Wohnungsnot.“, the focus lies on the aspect housing. There were two interviews conducted, one with an aggrieved party, and one with an expert on the topic. Afterwards, the interviews were evaluated and interpreted with the technique of open coding according to Strauss / Corbin. The research shows several versatile difficulties on a personal and an exterior level. On the one hand, the affected lack basic daily skills, on the other hand, they are among other things confronted with traumata, financial problems and a marginal support system.
