Eine qualitative Untersuchung des Projekts StartWien – Das Jugendcollege

Die vorliegende Bachelor-­Arbeit befasst sich mit Effektivitätskriterien in der Jugendberufshilfe in Zeiten eines ‚aktivierenden Sozialstaates’ neosozialer Prägung. Beispielhaft wird das Projekt StartWien – Das Jugendcollege untersucht. Mittels offenen Kodierens von vier problemzentrierten Interviews mit Vertreter*innen von Förderorganisationen und Projektmitarbeiter*innen wird untersucht, anhand welcher Kriterien Fördergeber*innen und Sozialarbeiter*innen bewerten, inwiefern effektive Soziale Arbeit im Projekt geleistet wird. Darüber hinaus wird herausgearbeitet, inwiefern sich diese Effektivitätskriterien in das Modell des aktivierenden Sozialstaates einordnen lassen und welche sozialarbeiterischen Prinzipien und Mandatsformen das Verständnis der Sozialarbeiter*innen von effektiver Arbeit leiten. Die Ergebnisse werden anschließend in Auseinandersetzung mit sozialarbeitswissenschaftlicher Theorie diskutiert.

The present bachelor thesis deals with effectiveness criteria in youth employment assistance in times of an 'activating welfare state' of neosocial character. The project StartWien -­ Das Jugendcollege is examined as an example. By means of open codification of four problem-­ centred interviews with representatives of funding organisations and project staff, the criteria used by funding agencies and social workers to assess the extent to which effective social work is carried out in the project are examined. In addition, it will be worked out to what extent these effectiveness criteria can be integrated into the model of the activating welfare state and which social work principles and mandate forms guide the social workers' understanding of effective work. The results will then be discussed in the context of social work theory.
